Having a Party and need equipment? Want to go paddling on the local lakes? FSS ODR rents everything from canopies and camping tents to tables and chairs, and much more.

• Call FSS ODR to check availability; certain items may not be available during special events. 24-hour notice is required for full cancellation refunds. Cancellations within 24-hours forfeit 1-day fee.
• All reservations require full payment to secure your items. No voluntary holds are allowed. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. Guests are required to sign liability form at the time of pick-up and drop-off and will be responsible for any damages or changes to the condition of the equipment that occurred during the rental period.
• Many large rental items require large vehicles or towing capabilities, please check with FSS ODR Staff at the time of reservation for vehicle and transportation requirements.

Available from December 1 thru March 31. Based on availability; equipment may not be available while ski/snowboard programs are scheduled. Please plan early and reserve in advance at 87FSS ODR Dix.

An appointment for sizing is required prior to any rental reservation. Gear cannot be rented to anyone without sizing on file.

Did you know we also service ski and snowboard equipment? Let us sharpen those edges, grind the base, and get a new coat of wax. Services are available at FSS Outdoor Rec Dix only. This is a drop-off service and can take up to several days to complete depending on queue and technician schedule.

Planning a camping trip or going canoeing?

FSS Outdoor Rec has canoes and kayaks along with camping gear, tents, coolers, and more. Wanna play? Footballs, soccer balls, softball equipment, horseshoe equipment, and more are all available for rental.

87FSS hosts two RV Camp Sites located at Willow Pond (8 spots on installation) on JBMDL Dix and at 87FSS Range 14 (12 spots off-installation). Willow Pond has water, electric, and a dump station. Range 14 has water, electric and sewage hookups.

Camp Dix (6 spots) primitive tent campsite is located along the Willow Pond peninsula off of 8th Street and Texas Avenue, JBMDL Dix. These sites include a fire pit and picnic table per site. Max of 8 guests per site. Porta Potty restroom is available in the parking lot (seasonally) or restrooms located at Willow Pond RV Camp Site. No potable water is available on site.

• Contracts and copies of Registrations are required prior to making reservations.
• All guests are to check in at FSS ODR to pick up a window placard.
• Check-in is after 1:00 PM; Check-Out is no later than 11:00 AM.
• No back-to-back reservations; participants must depart FamCamp for 48 hours before making another reservation.
• We require 48-hour notice for any cancellations or refunds.

John Mann Park Spend a day at the park, specifically FSS John Mann Park on Doughboy Loop. Along with a wide-open area for picnics and group events, the park features batting cages, mini-golf, go-karts, horseshoe pits, volleyball and basketball courts, and a playground for kids. The park is open to all eligible ID Holders and their guests.

Need a secure place to store your recreational vehicle, camper, boat, trailer, etc?

FSS has two gated and locked locations to accommodate such a need. The Dix Lot is located on 8th Street and Alabama Avenue and also has 8×10 storage units. The McGuire Lot is located on Broidy Road and Belmarsh Avenue.

DIRECTIONS:
To Dix Recreation Vehicle Storage Lot from Outdoor Recreation
Turn right on Doughboy Loop and at the first stop sign, make a right on to 8th Street, turn right on Alabama Avenue, proceed to 12th Street and the lot will be on your left. To McGuire Recreation Vehicle Storage Lot from Outdoor RecreationTurn right on Doughboy Loop to stop sign. Make a right on to 8th Street until traffic light and make left on to Texas Avenue. Stay on Texas Avenue until you see a traffic light and veer right on to Broidy Road. When merged into Broidy Road, follow until the traffic circle (that continues to Broidy Road). Follow along the airfield and then turn left on Belmarsh Avenue. Storage lot is immediately on the right.

• Participants must be assigned/attached to JBMDL and live within a 50-mile radius.
• Contact info must stay current to uphold the contract.
• Auto-billing occurs on the 1st of each month; a valid credit card is required for every agreement.
• All participants will have their own assigned access code to enter the secured storage lot. Only currently insured and registered vehicles in working condition are allowed to store.
• Vehicle upkeep and updated documents/contact info are the owner’s responsibility.
• Violations will be addressed, notice attempts will be documented, and can result in removal of vehicle and forfeit of spot with no refunds.
• Any towing expenses or impound fees will be the participant’s responsibility.
