FSS Youth Sports & Fitness Programs

Offering various sports leagues throughout the year right here at JBMDL

Did you know that 87FSS Youth Sports & Fitness Programs offers various sports leagues right here on JBMDL? Little League Baseball, Little League Softball, Soccer, and Basketball leagues take place throughout the year. Learn the basic skills in a safe and nurturing environment, and get an equal chance to play regardless of skill level. It’s open to all FSS/MWR eligible military youth ages 3–18 years.

Youth Sports

Youth Sports programs offer a wide variety of athletic programs for youth ages 3-18 years. Youth Sports are fantastic, skill-building opportunities for children. These programs are designed to keep your child active while building important teamwork skills.

All participants must have a completed sports physical before their first game. Download the required files here.

Youth Flag Football serves ages 7 years – 15 years. Pee Wee (Start Smart) Flag Football is an instructional parent interactive program for 5 and 6 year olds. Youth will play in the group according to their ages. The age groups are as follows but may change according to age/grade and registration numbers:

5 – 6 year olds (Developmental Play) Pee Wee (Start Smart)
7 – 8yrs Minors
9 – 10yrs Jr. Bantams
11 – 12yrs Sr. Bantams
13-15yrs Juniors

Sessions for START Smart are Wednesdays at 1730 hrs. Youth will participate in the group according to their ages. Youth Soccer serves youth ages 5 – 18 years old. START Smart Soccer is a parent-involved fun and engaging Pre-Sport Development Program for our 3- to 4-year-olds. Youth will play in the divisions according to their age. The listed divisions below are as follows but are subject to change according to age, league requirements and registration numbers for maximum participation.
