The Annual JBMDL Volunteer Appreciation Event takes place every year in April to recognize the volunteers of the JBMDL Community.

The Wing Commander has opening and closing remarks and presents the winners with their certificates and awards.

The Volunteer Program is designed to provide a comprehensive, standardized base appreciation program to acknowledge the vital role all volunteers played in our community during the period of 01 Jan 2023 through 31 Dec 2023.

Award Categories include:
The Volunteer Excellence Award (VEA)
JBMDL Active Duty Member Volunteer of the Year
JBMDL Civilian Volunteer of the Year
JBMDL Family Member Volunteer of the Year (Ages 18 and above)
JBMDL Youth Volunteer of the Year (Ages 9-17)
Key Spouse, Ombudsman, or Family Readiness Group Leader Volunteer of the Year
