Join ODR for a multiday backpacking trip in the Delaware Water Gap along the Appalachian Trail.

This trip will include 3 days of hiking and 2 nights of primitive tent camping.  Participants are asked to have previous hiking experience and comfort sleeping outdoors for 2 nights, ability to carry 30+ lb. backpacks over several miles, and ability to navigate sometimes steep, rocky, uneven terrain comfortably.  This hike is rated from moderate to strenuous and we’re expecting between 5-10 miles per day.

Detailed trip info will be available at time of registration.  Specific plans, equipment requirements, meals and concerns will be covered in participant questionnaire due back no later than October 4. 

Max of 10 participants; minimum of 4 people. Need to be signed up prior to 4 Oct.
Pre-trip meeting for registered members will be held 5 Oct at 1700 at ODR.  

Registration available September 7-17 for Active-duty priority (Id check required with ODR); September 17 through October 4 for all other DoD.

COST: $50 for RecOn eligible patrons; $75 for all other DoD ID Card Holders. No refunds after 3 October.  Fee includes transportation, basic equipment rental, 4 group meals, and a camping experience you won’t forget!
